About Me

Hi there! I’m a patent engineer at an intellectual property firm based in Taiwan, where I get to work on cutting-edge innovations and blend my love for languages with the precision of engineering. By night (and sometimes early mornings), I’m a graduate student in an IT program at Harvard, diving into the world of digital storytelling and computer programming.
I hold dual citizenship in the United States and Taiwan, which gives me a unique perspective on life and work. While my degrees in Foreign Languages and Applied English might seem like a detour, it’s actually been the perfect foundation for the analytical work I do as a patent engineer/developer.
Being a lifelong learning enthusiast, I’m always eager to pick up new skills. My goal? To become a jack-of-all-trades, and a master at leveraging AI for accomplishing a broad range of tasks.
When I’m not working or studying, you can find me knee-deep in a variety of video games that make it satisfying to level-up your character. And speaking of lifelong learning, I’ve racked up over 40 course certificates on Coursera alone, where most of my extracurricular learning is done.
I’m Chris Chen — welcome to my little corner of the web.
